Not ideal, but could be worse

I haven't eaten a fruit or vegetable all day, unless you count the peach yogurt I had today. I'm within my points, so that's fine. But not a fruit or vegetable in sight. Just thought I'd share. I can still lose weight w/o eating f&v's, but it's not healthy and I will feel so much better if I fuel my body correctly. But hey! What's one day?

On another note, I just decided on a fitness goal. I'm going to do the 'Couch to 5k' program in the New Year. http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml. I'm kinda excited...as long as I don't loose a lung in the process. I've never loved running, but I love the feeling afterwards. Besides, so many more AP's for the same amount of time. As a mom to young'uns, time is of the essence. I'll let you know how it goes...of course.

  1. I often have days with no F&V....for you it is just one day nd you'll be fine- that was like I was trying to do atkins a few years ago and you can't eat 'carb's the funny thing was at the time that was the ONLY thing would eat in a day!!
    I don't like F&V but I'm trying to add a little here or there to trick myself!!

    Congrats on the fitness goal- we are waiting to hear back on a 10K course in the new year (DH and I) I've done one before and it is really a awesome process and such and accomplishement at the end!!
