Well, I did it. I only ate 3 pieces of pizza last night! Woo hoo! I know, I know...some people are wondering what kinda pig eats 3 pieces of pizza in one sitting, but my minimum is usually 4, at least 4, so I'm happy with that. I had enough points and even still have flex points left for the weekend. Perhaps this change will be doable for the rest of my life.
To top that off, I even 'ran' yesterday. I was just going to walk for a bit on the treadmill because I'm feeling a little bit phlegmy, but once I got on...I just wanted to run and I pushed myself to finish the set. The last running interval, I ran 6 mph mph. That's my goal...to run 5k or 3miles (I know the numbers aren't exact, but they're close enough for me) in a half hour, so I'm going to have to run it at 6mph. Right now I walk at 4mph and run at about 5 - 5.5mph. Getting there.
I think I may even be getting control of this emotional eating thing. I did not turn to food when I was feeling emotional this week. I even thought about it once and decided I didn't feel like it. I honestly did not want chocolate at that moment. Sweet.
Yesterday was a very good day for Weight Watchers victories.
