As you may remember, I had an very off plan weekend full of eating too much and exercising too little. When I got home, I went back to being OP. It was tempting to just forget about it - as I'd already blown the week - and eat whatever I wanted. It was also tempting to over-compensate and eat under my points to make up for it. Luckily for me, I was able to simply eat like normal. I didn't use any flex points, but I did use my AP's and I got some good exercise in this week...though nothing out of the ordinary.
Anyhow, I'm glad to say that I lost 1.6 pounds over the past 2 weeks. I'm very happy to see a loss. Now, had I stayed OP over the weekend, I'd likely be down another 2 pounds or so (if my previous pattern held true), but I'm just glad to be down. This week easily could have been a gain.
So, I breathe a sigh of relief and make a mental note that every decision does make a difference and matters. Never give up...even if you feel you've completely blown it.
Now that I have my beloved 35 flex points back, I'd love to eat, eat, eat today...but I'd better not. Planning to go out for supper to the Keg this weekend with my hubby for my birthday. This will take real budgeting...both with money and points. I cannot believe how high the points are there...I could easily eat all my flex and a full day's worth of points without even thinking about it. So, I've planned what I'm gonna have (from the website) and have put aside a bit of money to go out too...so's we don't have to use Visa. Groceries may be tight, but I'm gonna try.
Here's to my last week of being 30. 31 here I come...
:o)
