Glorious Day

If you had told me at 12:30am when I was changing Natey's pee'd bed that I'd be having a good day today, I may have believed you. If you had told me at 2am when I got up with my teething Finleigh and then again at 6am when I finally got her to sleep, I would have been extremely dubious. Extremely. Dubious. And doubtful.


But today, I'm having a good day. I'm feeling remarkably good on 4 hours of sleep. And I won the Cupcake Courier!!!! I did. Yippee! Could I be more excited? I don't think so. When I got the news, I jumped up and down like a crazy person yelling, "I won, I won. I can't believe I won." Ask my boys, it's true and they were more than happy to join in on the celebration even though they didn't understand why Mommy was so excited. So thank you Mommies United! I appreciate it so very much.

And then, to top that off, I got to go grocery shopping all by myself this afternoon. That was certainly a treat. I came home with many fruits and vegetables and very little processed food. By my standards anyways. And Brian's going to barbecue tonight. Yum. It's sunny and the warmest it's been here in oh, say 6 months. 13 C. Which for my American friends is 55 F. Which I'm sure is cold for you southerners...but for me? It's warm enough to to shed my jacket and drive with my window down. And I'm wearing a goal shirt today that I've been wanting to get into since Christmas and it now looks good and Brian even told me I look hot. Yup.

So, I'm looking forward to getting back to eating healthy with all my expensive groceries. And I'm even more excited about using my cupcake courier.
