Same Kind of Different As Me by Ron Hall & Denver Moore with Lynn Vincent: A Review

Same Kind of Different As Me, by Ron Hall & Denver Moore, with Lynn Vincent.  A true story written by the men who lived it.  A story of redemption, second chances and devastating pain and loss.  I was not prepared for what this book would be like, but it was beautiful.  As these men, who had been through so much, continued to claim God's providence and goodness, I was moved.  Well written, I fell in love with the people in this book.  It read like fiction, so it was enjoyable to read, but because it is true, it's also inspiring.  I feel as if my view of life has opened up having read this book.  God forgive my arrogance.  Now I need to figure out what to do with what I've read.  Of all the books I've read this year, I would say this is the one I would recommend the most.

Thank you to Booksneeze who sent me this free book in exchange for my impartial review.

  1. Amanda, you need to check out the second book, "What Difference Do It Make?" equally as gripping and moving as the first!
