Getting Back on Track

It finally stopped snowing yesterday afternoon. Now it's melting. The roads are gonna be a mess for the next week or so. But at least it's all fresh snow. That's kinda nice.

Okay, so I'll admit that I'm having a hard time staying on track today. There, now I've said it. Hopefully I can now get back to eating in a way that honors my body and all the hard work I've done so far. I CAN'T backslide or give up now. No way. Not an option. NOT an option.

I tried my new yoga video yesterday. I think I'm gonna like it. But I'm sore today. This is the first time I've been sore since I started getting back into exercise. Even after running. Am I sore because of the yoga or the snow shovelling I did yesterday? If I'm sore because of the yoga, does that mean I'm doing it wrong or doing it right? I think I should just bite the bullet and actually take a class. But getting out of the house regularly with a shift working husband and a house full of kids is challenging to say the least.

  1. I hear you about the shift work. What a pain to try to schedule anything without having children along. If you can do the class though, go for it!
