Pom - A Review.

A while back, I was contacted and asked if I would review Pom Wonderful. Pom Wonderful is a 100% pomegranate juice. You can read all about it here. It's full of antioxidants. We all know those are good for you and all that. The health benefits seem overwhelming. According to the website, drinking this juice promotes cardiovascular and prostrate health, help erectile dysfunction (did I just type than on my blog???) and has more antioxidants ounce for ounce than other juices.

Now, I suppose you're wondering how it tastes? We tried POM cherry and POM tangerine. Hubby and I both agreed that we preferred the cherry because it was just a little bit sweeter. It reminded me quite a bit of cranberry juice...also a juice you drink more for it's benefits than it's taste, no? I'm not a huge juice drinker, but if I was, I would probably introduce this juice to my diet from time to time.

I found this recipe, here. I haven't tried it, but I do think putting this juice into a smoothie is a good idea if you're looking to up the antioxidants in your diet. Also, I think it would be a great substitute for cranberry juice in this yummy muffin recipe. The website also has a bunch of different recipes to try. I've tried none of them...yet. Maybe after I get back from my summer vacation.
